What we don't do. We can't provide one-on-one tech support over email — there are simply too many devices and configurations to do that responsibly. For hands-on help, we recommend asking your nearest public library, AARP TEK chapter, or local senior centre about free in-person tech sessions.

Response times

We reply to every email within two business days, Monday through Friday, US Mountain Time, excluding US federal holidays. Press inquiries with a same-day deadline should mention the deadline in the subject line; we will do our best to accommodate.

For people helping a senior

If you are a family member, friend, or caregiver writing on behalf of a senior who is struggling with a specific task, please include in your message: the phone make and model (e.g., "iPhone 14", "Samsung Galaxy A15"), the operating system version if you know it, and a one-sentence description of what they're trying to do. We can usually point you to the exact step in the right guide.
